Can anyone please help me to troubleshoot this? This all points to driver, configuraiton and/or user issue. ![]() I've also used the same USB adapter on the WinXP laptop to make sure the hardware is working fine. I have another laptop with WIndows XP, and it can connect my AP fine in WPA-PSK authentication mode. Unzip the file and enter the newly-created directory. I even disabled WPA-PSK on my wireless router and made it open, but still "iwlist wlan0 scan" doesn't detect my AP. To install this package please do the following: - Save the downloadable package on an accessible location (such as your desktop). When it detected mine a few times, which is configured with WPA-PSK, and I try to connect to my AP using "wpa_supplicant" but it was never able to connect to the AP. However, when I do "iwlist wlan0 scan", it detects only one AP (which is unfortunately not mine). I can see the adapter using "lsusb" and "ndiswrapper -l" also sees it, too. I was able to installed ndiswrapper with WG111's Windows XP driver. Getting the wireless adapter working is crucial since I'd like to take the laptop around and work under wireless Internet connection. I recently installed CentOS 5.1 on my laptop and everything is working just fine except wireless adapter. ![]()
